Canary Wharf was the scene for Charlie’s latest adventure, where he worked with twenty guys and gals from
St James’s Place at a blind tasting event whom he regaled with vinous tales, both humorous and serious
Of the eight wines tasted, the Albariño was considered to be the best white and the Lodi Zinfandel from
California the best red.
Both wines come in at an affordable £11.99 each. Further evidence that we don’t drink labels, which is why blind
tastings are so much more fun.
They seemed to like the event and have invited me back in the autumn!
